Long were the days where heels were mandatory for the office, weddings, or even red carpets (we’re thinking Serena Williams at the Met Gala earlier this year). The comfortability and fashion-forward designs of sneakers are empowering women to wear sneakers for any occasion. Largely influenced by athleisure and streetwear, two aesthetics currently dominating, it’s nearly impossible to choose a heel over a sneaker. From mainstream brands to high end brands, I think we can all agree, sneakers have never looked better. And unlike most cult fashion items, like designer jeans or high end handbags, sneakers are far more attainable in price and availability.

All the current sneaker trends deserve your attention, but if you need help sorting through, we are here to help. The dad sneaker was all anyone could talk about in 2018, and as fans of the trend, we’re happy to say they aren’t going anywhere. This fall we are also seeing a rise in all white sneakers, eco-friendly sneakers, platform sneakers, and colorful sneakers. And because we’re nothing if not dedicated, here are the top sneakers to help you glide into fall.
