On Sundays … Olivia Palermo

10 June 2018

Actress and model, Olivia Palermo is a staple of Fashion Weeks and turns the heads of street style photographers with its sharp look. When she does not run the world, the influencer spends her weekends in New York. The opportunity to reveal her secrets and addresses for a perfect Sunday.

Where are you usually on Sunday?

Either at home in New York, Notting Hill if I’m in London or a lunch at La Réserve for a Parisian trip.

3 words to summarize your usual Sunday.

Husband, friends and movies.

What do you do on Sunday that you do not do the rest of the week?

Sunday is the perfect day to return to the past week and the one that is coming. My husband is used to taking his “Sunday series”, shootings of us that he publishes on Instagram.

The ideal weekend for you would be …

Shopping in thrift stores with my closest friend, Sarah Harris from British Vogue and her husband.

Do you have a special Sunday look?

I’m always dressed neatly: Sunday is not an excuse for looking badly dressed.

Do you have a special beauty or sports routine on Sunday?

I train 6 days a week with Tracy Anderson . I keep the same beauty routine all week long which includes Joanna Vargas masks , Dr. Dennis Gross face cleansers and Charlotte Tilbury products .

What does your Sunday morning look like?

Mr Butler and I leave for our morning walk when we are in New York. I then have a 90-minute sport session with Tracy Anderson … before going to eat with my husband Johannes .

One or more inspirational Instagram accounts for Sunday?

@ashleystark, @victoriabrynner and @johanneshuebl

Tell me a youthful memory around Sunday.

I participated every weekend in horse-riding obstacle races … I traveled every week with my pony.

Where can we meet on Sunday?

In New York, I spend a lot of time in Chelsea and TriBeCa with my family and friends. I like to go to Plaza M on Sunday to get my nails done and start the week well.

Your 3 favorite addresses in Paris.

At the Bristol  (112 rue du Faubourg St. Honore 75008)for a break in the afternoon, the Reserve  (42 avenue Gabriel 75008)  whose restaurant is for me one of the best in the world and window shopping to see all closed stores and find inspiration on Sundays.

A perfect table for your Sunday lunch.

Sant Ambroeus in New York and Jack in London.

An activity to do with your friends on Sunday?

Go to art exhibitions, visit different neighborhoods or even play video games if the weather is bad.

A book to advise us to occupy our next Sunday?

The book of Carlos Souza Comporta Bliss Editions Assouline .

A Sunday night ritual?

As I travel a lot, I like to go home on Sunday to prepare the week ahead.

Finally, what can we wish you for next Sunday?

Positive energy and good weather!
