                                                                                                                                                                                                        offerings by creating savory and satisfying
                                                                                                                                                                                                        dishes that warm both your heart and
                                                                                                                                                                                                        your home. All the recipes included here

                                                                                                                                                                                                        Personally, I lean toward dairy-free
                                                                                                                                                                                                        veggie-based dishes, but if that’s not your
                                                                                                                                                                                                        preference, look toward the seafood and
                                                                                                                                                                                                        chicken/turkey recipes. We experimented
                                                                                                                                                                                                        with a lot of interesting nontraditional
                                                                                                                                                                                                        ingredients that many home cooks are
                                                                                                                                                                                                        not familiar with but can easily find—yuzu
                                                                                                                                                                                                        juice, harissa, Calabrian chilies, to name
                                                                                                                                                                                                        a few. Remember, the fun thing about
                                                                                                                                                                                                        healthy cooking is that you can create
                                                                                                                                                                                                        health-conscious dishes that are bursting
                                                                                                                                                                                                        with flavor by using spices, herbs, citrus,
                                                                                                                                                                                                        and chilies.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        Note: It’s okay to be both a chef and a guest
                                                                                                                                                                                                        at your own fall holiday table or weeknight
                                                                                                                                                                                                        cooking celebration!

                                                                                                                                                                                                        honey olive oil cake with oranges and thyme.
                                                                                                                                                                                                        When baking, the house smells delightful, and
                                                                                                                                                                                                        you’re treated to a sensory overload. It’s difficult
                                                                                                                                                                                                        to let the cake cool, but I always make an herbal

                                                                                                                                                                                                        flavors is heavenly.
