very adventure deserves a rest stop, but it’s important to look out for the healthiest exit before pulling over. How
you fuel your body matters, especially now and as we move through the summer months.
To point your diet compass in the right direction, we’ve laid out some of Tracy’s favorite warm-weather meals,
E consisting of drinks, fruit plates and dips, slaws, and salads designed with the intention of incorporating a variety
of brain foods—fresh herbs, greens, and healthy fats such as olive oil and avocado. Cool down with a refreshing and easy
antioxidant-rich drink, or dive into a fruit plate accompanied by a sweet, savory, tangy, and spicy dipping sauce. There’s
plenty of salads and slaws on the menu, each with a unique and delicious homemade dressing recipe to pack in extra
anti-inflammatory goodness.
Summer is a time to be mindful yet playful with your diet. That’s why we also sourced a “DIY slaw” guide straight from
Tracy’s kitchen, so that you can create your own with ingredients you love. And if you’re feeling extra adventurous, try
pickling the vegetables you use at home by following our bonus tutorial.
As your journey continues, we hope this plan inspires you to tap into the joy that comes with nourishing yourself
naturally.
Bon appétit!
