As I begin to write and reflect upon my family’s journey,
I feel an overwhelming sense of peace and gratitude wash over me.
My heart swells with joy as I can finally share one shimmering moment of hope in this difficult year.
On August’s last evening, in the garden of our home in New Hope, Pennsylvania, Chris and I got married.
It means a great deal to talk about this new, bountiful chapter of love in a story that has not always been rosy.
Over the course of my life, I’ve seen love change shape. I’ve seen loves lost.
I’ve been on my own journey of self love, which has always been intertwined with my Method and practice.
Just like we find new ways to move and inhabit our bodies, we can always find new ways to love. I’ve come to realize
that families can change form, relationships can evolve, and through it all, love’s light will never dim. The beauty HIGH VIBES
is that new love can emerge, and there will always be space for families to grow. That is all okay. I’ve been on a journey TRUE LOVE’S KISS
that many systems and institutions would consider imperfect. Yet, the family I have today is the one I used to wish
for years ago. I’m starting this year with the hope that the modern family of 2022 can exist in all different incarnations,
and that we all believe in an ever-sprouting, burgeoning love that never dies. In the words of the late great
Maya Angelou, “Have the courage to trust love one more time, and always one more time.” -TRACY
