How did the rebirth of the studio come about? Tracy recently told The Los Angeles Times, “Studio City was always the little engine that could. It was never fancy, but it always had heart and soul. There’s something very down to earth about it that represented something very cool and not entitled. People went there and worked on themselves and the content and the authenticity of the work. They cared more about that than fancy locker rooms.”

Studio City was Tracy’s first space. “It’s not just a studio – it’s much more than that.” She adds, “I think it’s important to know that preserving the Studio City location was very symbolic for me.”

With Tracy’s upcoming Los Angeles Vitality Week taking place on January 18th – 21st inside our OG home, we decided to share a few of our favorite, healthy neighborhood spots to help you navigate around town.

The Studio City Farmers Market

Every Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm, The Studio City Farmers Market is held on Ventura Place, between Laurel Canyon Blvd and Radford Ave. Sure, this is a fun spot to go for fresh fruits and vegetables, but it was also created to provide access to locally grown produce and locally produced artisan foods and crafts all while giving back to the community. And since you’re there, why not grab some fresh ingredients and make one of Tracy’s healthy recipes found in the latest issue of Tracy Anderson Magazine?
