Cristina De Francesco’s Story

My journey with Tracy Anderson started nine years ago. I had seen Tracy (back then she was known for training Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Lopez), and she was so inspiring and intriguing. I had just lost my baby, Maddox, at seven months, and I was so distraught, nothing seemed to make sense. I was cooped up in the house all day and felt like nothing was worth it. I knew one thing, though, I didn’t want to have the body of a new mom without having a baby in my arms to show for it. I wanted to erase it and get my body back.

So I decided three months later that I would start Metamorphosis Omnicentric and literally got addicted. Not because of the body transformation, but the mental therapy. When I did Tracy, my mind emptied and I completely focused on the workout. I didn’t think about my loss, our loss. (My husband and I have been married for 17 years.) I just worked through the hour of pure therapy that Tracy provided. I cried, I was mad, I was frustrated, then I experienced happiness, accomplishment, and motivation. I looked forward to the next workout, the next day, and I was gradually feeling human. I started to work through the process of gaining my life back.

Mind, Body, and Soul

I started smiling, and my results were through the roof. I had forgotten that was why I started working out to begin with. Tracy has done so much more for me, and I truly let go of the physical aspect; I searched out the therapy—creating space, finding my place in my not-so-meaningful life.

Nine years later, I’m still doing Tracy Anderson’s Method. I gave birth to my son, Jaxon, six years ago, and throughout my pregnancy, I did the Pregnancy Project program. I’ve also done the Post-Pregnancy Workout Series, and after signing up for the Online Studio in 2018, I now stream atTAin. At age 37, I feel more fit than I did in my twenties. Tracy started out as physical therapy and turned into a therapy session; I’ve never felt more positive and physically happy about a workout—and about life itself.
