Johnny Webster’s Tracy Anderson Method Journey

I’ve known about the Tracy Anderson Method for a while, and I’ve always been afraid to fully try it. I’ve taken a few cardio classes in the studio off and on, but never her mat classes or multitask. In truth, I couldn’t afford it. When the pandemic happened, I was doing Training Mate classes because it made the most sense. Once they were closed and moved online, I decided I wasn’t a workout-at-home person so I canceled my membership. I started doing Dance Cardio in my living room and posted them on Instagram. One day, one of the trainers said I should try the online program to learn the routines because I love to dance. I thought, sure.

The moment I tried the (Intermediate) Mat Classes I was instantly hooked. I was amazed at how challenging the classes were, this prior to getting the weights, and how after every workout I wanted to cry happy tears, grateful tears. I finally found the workout that worked for me mentally, physically, and emotionally. And I could do it in my home—something I never thought was possible. I eventually got ankle weights and it became even more evident how incredibly designed this program is, even at the beginner level. I instantly started to feel a difference in my arms and lower body. I was feeling parts of my body I didn’t know existed. It was amazing how in just three short months, my arms have transformed. I feel stronger than I’ve ever felt. I’m loving my body more than I’ve ever loved it.

Practicing the Tracy Anderson Method is the first time in my life I feel like I can do anything. I’m still pushing and challenging myself. The weekly breakdowns have helped me understand what I need to focus on. I’m having a new conversation with my body every week, and it’s empowering. I’ve moved to atTAin and am experiencing more growth and physical changes. I’m eating better so I can continue to reap the benefits of this program. I can’t express enough gratitude for Tracy Anderson and her team for continuing to empower me to work harder and smarter to be able to achieve the ultimate goal of loving the body I have through hard work and determination.
