Anna’s Tracy Anderson Method Journey

I used to be AB-centric—no matter how skinny I got, there was always some belly sticking out. This made me uncomfortable in my body constantly. Tracy Anderson has completely transformed my body to an OMNI; it’s actually a pretty strange experience getting a totally new body.

I’ve always been skinny but with zero definition. People are so obsessed with weight, the first thing I realized when starting the Tracy Anderson Method was that it’s all about the lines, design, and tightness of the muscles to the skin. I felt the greatest relief to finally get results and stop obsessing about weight.

The change going from AB-centric to OMNI-centric is a major personal accomplishment and has changed me forever. The confidence in my own ability to make difficult changes by really committing and working hard has reprogrammed me. I’m not scared to take on new challenges in other aspects of life, and the best part of it is that I succeed at them. I’ve been getting feedback at work about my attention to detail; this is key when working as an analyst. All the mental training on the mat and constant problem-solving have made me a much better analyst!

Mind, Body, and Soul

Suffering from PTSD, I’ve found that Tracy’s Method has completely healed me from within. I remember the first time I did her mat workout from 2008, my nervous system completely quieted down. Having this program to calm down my nervous system every day for the past decade has been a lifeline for me. Honestly, I don’t know where I would be today if I had not found TA, probably in a much darker place. I’ve done TA consistently since 2011 with no break or modification. I’ve followed the program exactly as Tracy said. I did them in this order: 2008 Mat workout, Meta followed by Continuity (the whole program), Streaming atTAin (advanced muscular design) six to seven days a week, and learned all the dances from the DVDs.
